Cedrics death as portrayed in the Goblet of Fire movie was traumatic. It was heart wrenching, and everything about it was perfect. It was solid, definite, real, the end of this boys life, and you could feel his fathers pain and that of everyone in the crowd outside of the maze. Then there was Deathly Hallows… Voldemorts death, Bellatrixs. I know this is so freaking late to point out, but the whole dust thing was so anticlimactic. Why did we have to feel the end of Cedrics life so intensely, meanwhile Voldemort flies off gracefully into the sun. What was that on the movie makers part…? We should have seen his body. rot. Fred, Tonks, and Remus were all dead enough to lie on the floor of the great hall, the douchebags should have been to.
