Some conventions are just not for me. Otakuthon I could find no amusement in other than the costumed folk running around. The merch room was interesting, but my lack of enthusiasm may possibly be due to the two hours of sleep I had beforehand… Comic con I’m curious about. I’m kind of anticipating not being that in love with it either, but I’ll never know until I try. I’m a Harry Potter Con kind of girl, that’s for sure. I’m hoping I’ll go right by a Youtube convention as well. They seem so entirely different. They’re all conventions, yet the atmosphere variation seems other wordly to me. I wish they weren’t so dang expensive and travel wasn’t as difficult as it tends to be. I want to try out more.
